Meringues

Meringues

2 egg whites             ½ c sugar
¼ c choc chips         optional: 1 pinch cream of tartar

Optional: wipe CLEAN glass or metal bowl with a few drops of lemon juice or vinegar
Separate eggs, beat whites until stiff but not dry. (Add cream of tartar)
Beat in sugar slowly (2 Tbsp at a time). Fold in choc chips
Drop by tsp onto baking paper, bake 20 minutes at 170

Makes about 25 meringues
