Ima’s Cinnamon Buns
1.5 T yeast granules
2 c warm water
Add and mix:
½ c sugar
1 T salt
3 c flour
Add and mix: 1 egg
½ c oil
3-4 c flour
Knead, let rise 1 hour
Rolls out to rectangle
Spread on oil or margarine, lots of cinnamon sugar
Roll up the long way
Cut slices, about 3-4 cm wide
Place each slice, cut side down, in a pan. Leave room to
rise
Let rise 1 hour.
Bake at 170° about 25 minutes
When cool, spoon glaze on top:
Confectioners sugar and a few drops of lemon juice or water,
til the mixture is runny but thick
